Joao Paulo Guedes is a Brazilian/Canadian fashion designer based in Canada.

He was the winner of the first ever EMDA - Emerging Menswear Designer Award at Toronto Men's Fashion Week and one of the designers on the reality TV series: 'Stitched'. His work has been featured in publications around the world, such as: Vogue Italia, Vogue UK, GQ Brazil, Elle Canada Man, Schon magazine, etc.

Currently, He is a menswear designer at Mackage, a contemporary outerwear label based in Montreal.

While working and developing his own brand, Guedes worked as a designer & product developer at various brands in Canada’s' apparel industry including: Canada Goose, OVO (October's Very Own), and Sears Canada where he was a head designer.

He had the pleasure of designing for various celebrities during his fashion tenure, including Serge Ibaka, Festus Ezeli, Lido Pimienta, Francesco Yates, Fritz Helder, Yoko Gold, Jade Houssouné, Ria Mae, Bruno Capinan, and more. As a supporter of local talent, Joao Paulo has collaborated with many artists, entrepreneurs and businesses to integrate fashion and art.
